How to find grants, subsidies and funding
There are several organisations that can assist you in finding out about grants and funding.
Community Builders
The NSW Department of Communities and Justice Community Builders NSW is an interactive online hub for everyone involved in community level social, economic and environmental change.
Grant Finder
Grant Finder is an Australian Government website that helps organisations findsuitable grants.
The Funding Centre
The Funding Centre is a subscription based grants & fundraising hub.
Australian Indigenous Health Info Net
The Australian Indigenous Health Info Net is an online research centre within Edith Cowan University, which lists available grants.

- NAIDOC Week
- Funding is available under the Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) to help communities to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
- Landcare Australia
- Facilitates funding opportunities. Landcare Australia brokers partnerships with a range of companies to provide resources for Landcare and other community volunteer groups.
- NSW Office of Sport
- Aimed at increasing participation in sport, recreation and structured physical activity.
- Create NSW
- As part of the NSW Aboriginal Arts and Culture Strategy, funding is available throughout the year to help Aboriginal artists, organisations and partnerships explore market development opportunities in the creative industries by attending trade fairs and export markets.
- Australia Council for the Arts Grants
- Each year, the Australian Council for the Arts deliver over $200 million in funding for arts organisations and individual artists across the country.
- Department of Social Services (DSS)
- Grants and funding for community-based projects. DSS works in partnership with other government and non-government organisations to manage a diverse range of programmes and services designed to support and improve the lives of Australians.
- Department of Education and Training
- Grants to support organisations or individuals, to support the Australian Government's policies and programmes on early childhood, school education, and youth affairs.
