Our Aboriginal Housing Office team are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Communications Officer (Identified) to drive the Department’s policy priorities through engagement and communication strategies. The Senior Communications Officer will support the Department’s reputation through effectively informing the community on AHO initiatives and projects.
This is an Aboriginal Identified role where Aboriginal identity, cultural knowledge or connections are a genuine aspect of the role. Positions are specifically noted under the provisions of the NSW Anti-discrimination Act (1977).

At the Department of Planning and Environment we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior HR professional to join a dedicated and highly regarded team within the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) division.
In your new role as Senior People Partner, you will work with the Manager People, Strategy and Development, to provide expert strategic and operational HR advice and guidance to the Aboriginal Housing Office. You will implement new initiatives to effectively manage people and provide end to end advice on key HR change initiatives that impact business outcomes.
Your stakeholder engagement experience will be instrumental in this role, and your strong ‘can-do’ approach will assist you in building relationships with your client group. Your collaborative and consultative approach, ability to build credibility and trust with your clients and peers, coupled with your proven track record as a HR professional will be the key to your success in this role. You pride yourself on your positive attitude.
