- maintenance, emergency repairs, advice on Rentstart (bond) and purchasing a home, call the Housing Contact Centre on 1800 422 322
- emergency temporary accommodation, call 1800 727 555 (freecall).
- appealing a decision made by a social housing provider, contact the Housing Appeals Committee.
- tenancy issues (including advice, mediation, resolving disputes and support with maintenance and repairs requests), call the Aboriginal Tenants Advice & Advocacy Service (ATAAS). ATAAS have offices across NSW. If you live in:
- Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Hawkesbury or Macarthur contact Greater Sydney Aboriginal Tenants Service.
- the Hunter, North Coast or New England contact Northern NSW Aboriginal Tenants Advice & Advocacy Service.
- Illawarra, South Coast, South East, Riverina, Upper or Central Murray contact Murra Mia Southern NSW Aboriginal Tenants Service.
- the Central West, North West or Far West contact Western Aboriginal Tenants Advice & Advocacy Service.

- Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW1800 246 545 offer independent dispute resolution service for all electricity and gas customers in NSW, and some water customers.
- NSW Fair Trading 1800 500 330 offer rental consumer advice and have an Aboriginal enquiry officer available.
