AHO are increasing properties under ownership - LAHC Title transfers

Property titles for approximately 3,325 homes, tenanted by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will be transferred to the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) from the Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC), starting on 25 May 2023.

All eligible homes within the program will be transferred to the AHO by August 2024 across multiple tranches.

Tenancy management will remain with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

Tenant engagement has begun via an initial letter sent to tenants of the first tranche (505 properties) within the Mt Druitt area.
