Aboriginal Tenancy Advice and Advocacy Services (ATAAS)

What is ATAAS?

The Aboriginal Tenancy Advice and Advocacy Services (ATAAS) provides information, advice, advocacy and representation for Aboriginal tenants.

As a tenant, you have legal rights and responsibilities. ATAAS also provides community education to tenants, service providers and other groups on any tenancy issue.

If you have a hearing with the Consumer Traders Tenancy Tribunal (CTTT) then your ATAAS can assist you in preparing your case and, when appropriate, represent you at the hearing.

If you are having problems, you may want to contact ATAAS who may be able to negotiate with your landlord on your behalf to assist you to resolve any tenancy dispute.

We have some contact numbers available to help you obtain more details about ATAAS services.
