The NSW government is preparing a new state wide strategy that will set a 20-year vision for housing in NSW. The strategy will consider housing supply, diversity, affordability and resilience needs across NSW communities, from homelessness to social and affordable housing; to housing for seniors or people with disability; and to private market housing, whether rented, mortgaged or owned.

The strategy is still in its early stages; and consultation on a discussion paper is open now until the 24th July 2020. The discussion paper outlines the key priorities and actions the NSW Government will take to achieve this vision, alongside delivery partners.

You can complete the survey here and the discussion paper can be accessed here .

It’s really important that voices are heard in this consultation so please feel free to share the links to the discussion paper and survey amongst your local networks. The more responses our communities return, the better informed the final strategy will be.
