Grant amount: up to $150K
A grant awarded to one Aboriginal organisation to address a social need in the areas of health, justice, education or employment in their community. Social needs include connection to Country and community, wellbeing, self-esteem and availability of appropriate services.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the grant, you must be able to show that your organisation:
- is an Aboriginal organisation located in NSW
- is 50% or more Aboriginal owned
- works closely with your community and has a good understanding of what the community needs are
- has the capacity to deliver the project in the allocated timeframe with a dedicated worker
- has the capacity to collect data and complete reporting as needed
- is interested in co-designing with the AHO and other stakeholders, government, or non-government agencies.
