National Partnership Agreement on Remote Indigenous Housing (NPARIH) (PDF)
National Indigenous Reform Agreement between the Commonwealth of Australia and the States and Territories. This agreement aims to faciliate significant reform in the provision of housing for Indigenous people in remote communites and to address overcrowding, homelessness, poor housing conditions and severe housing shortage in remote Indigenous communities.
Sector Report - Snapshot on NSW Aboriginal Housing (PDF)
Presents snapshot summary information and data on key aspects of the NSW Aboriginal Housing sector as at June 2012. The data draws on performance reporting information to both the NSW Government and the Australian Government, and sector data that are relevant for policy and planning purposes.
NSW Housing and Human Services Accord (the Accord) (PDF)
Between the Department of Housing and NSW Human Service Agencies to assist social housing clients with support needs; to assist clients of human service agencies with housing needs; and to reduce social disadvantage in larger public housing estates.
Indicative NSW Indigenous Population Projection 2006-2021 (PDF)
The results of projections indicate an accelerated growth for the Indigenous population of NSW during the next 15 years.
Aboriginal Housing Population Household Projections 2011-31 (PDF)
These projections show that the total Indigenous population of NSW will increase from 208,364 persons on 30 June 2011 to 343,630 persons on 30 June 2031. Over the next 20 years, all NSW regions will experience positive Indigenous population growth.

The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA) is designed to promote fair, transparent and open government.

Requests to access information held by the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) can be made by any member of the public, or a client of the AHO seeking details relating to a service they have received.

Only information of a non-personal nature can be disclosed, and fees and charges will be applicable.

Formal Request for Information Form (PDF)
A request for information held by the AHO can be made by any member of the public, or a client of the AHO seeking details relating to a service they have received - $30 application fee applies.
Internal Review Application Form (PDF)
An internal review may be sought within 20 working days of a notice of decision - $40 application fee applies.
