Independent Audit: Getting Savvy on Housing Performance Requirements
If you are a FINANCE OFFICER, TREASURER, AUDITOR or member of an Audit and Risk Committee working with Class 1, 2 or 3 registered community housing providers under the Regulatory Code and PARS, this SEMINAR IS FOR YOU. You may be eligible for up to 1.5 CPE points/hours.
The Registrar of Community Housing is conducting this seminar for 2013 under its Occasional Industry Seminar series.
This seminar focuses on two themes:
- How external audit responds to the requirements of the Regulatory Code and the Provider Assessment and Registration System (PARS), and
- How internal audit supports community housing providers to meet performance requirements under Regulatory Code and PARS.
Covering a wide range of issues, the Registrar has invited speakers from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Internal Audit Bureau to join in discussion with registered housing providers.
